shop - unused vintage postage stamps!

After many months of collecting, unused vintage postage stamps have been restocked!

Small collections of color coordinated stamps each have 50% more stamps than the previous collections - 30 postage stamps per set.  You have 7 different collections to choose from - ranging from a group of red / white / blue, to a set with all of your favorite neutrals, as well as a purple / green / aqua combination with charming cactus and Walt Disney stamps.

If you are looking for a few more stamps, there are also Medium, Large, and Extra Large collections, with up to 200 different vintage stamps.  An instant collection of vintage postage that will last you many, many letters without any of the hunting and searching!

Aside from the stamps themselves, I'm also excited about the new packaging I designed for these sets.  Small and Medium collections are packaged in coin envelopes that have a coordinating stamp.  The stamp is attached with a very small piece of double sided tape so you can easily detach it and use it as a bonus stamp on your next letter.  I see these as perfect stocking stuffers for paper lovers this Christmas!

Large and Extra Large collections are packaged in glassine bags with kraft labels - also ready to be gifted to a special friend or family member this holiday season.

shop update - Advent Journals.

This year's batch of Advent Journals are now available!  I have been making these goodie filled journals since 2011, and they have quickly grown to become my favorite products to offer and one of my customers' favorite products to treat themselves to during the holiday season.

If you've followed my shop for awhile now you have probably heard this story already, but if not, here's what inspired me to start making these journals.  Ever since I was a little girl, my mom and I have exchanged a little pile of gifts on December 1.  During each evening leading up to Christmas we open up one little gift together.  The gifts aren't terribly expensive - especially when I was younger and using my allowance to buy the gifts.  However, the gifts gave my mom and I an opportunity to spend some time together each day during the busy holiday season.  It is a tradition that we've continued for at least 15 years and still do even though we live 500 miles away.  Each evening we chat on the phone for a few minutes while we open up our little gift. 

These Advent Journals are my way of bringing this tradition to you - giving you a little something to look forward to each and every day leading up to Christmas.  The journal is composed of 25 envelopes and bags sealed with washi tape. 

Inside each you'll find a little surprise gift.  You might get some labels, maybe some unused vintage postage stamps, or perhaps a mini notebook.  This year's gifts have a retail value ranging from $1 - 8 per day, although I think you'll find even more value in the opportunity to treat yourself to a surprise every day for almost an entire month - a month that's clearly magical, but also a little hectic and stressful!
