new shop is open!

I couldn't be more excited to launch www.SaturdayAMVintage.com today! To introduce you to the new shop, I thought I'd answer a few questions you might be wondering about. If you want to get straight to shopping, scroll down to the bottom of this post to grab a coupon code and then head here!

Question: Is your new shop the same as your Etsy shop?

Answer: Yes and no. Like my Etsy shop, the new shop is filled with vintage ephemera. Paper is what I know and love. However, the products are now divided into two groups - products that will be continually stocked and products that are one of a kind or limited edition.

The continually stocked products make up the core of the shop - small and large paper packs, stamps, matchbox labels, milk caps, airmail envelopes, and more. No more worries about wanting a paper pack, but the color you had your eye on being sold out, or checking back over and over as you wait for more stamps to be listed.

But, I couldn't leave out one of a kind vintage items or products I only have a handful of. Twice a month, on the 1st and 15th of the month, I'll be adding a collection of products with a common theme that won't be restocked once they sell out. These will be one of a kind vintage finds, as well as paper packs and other products in limited edition quantities. Each collection will have 5-15 products, and focus on themes such as photography from the past and vintage office supplies.

Question: Did you add any one of a kind products for the shop's launch?

Answer: Yes - an airmail collection! The shop is stocked with some limited edition stamp sets and paper packs, in addition to a collection of labels, a couple of ephemera collections, and a stationery set - all in classic red, white, and blue. Once these products are sold out, they're gone for good!

Question: What will happen to your Etsy shop?

Answer: I haven't made a final decision of the fate of my Etsy shop. It will remain open for the time being, and I will be adding some of the new products to it as well. However, all of the one of a kind vintage items and limited edition products will be stocked in the new shop only.

Question: Is it the new shop easy and safe to use?

Answer: Definitely! The shop is run through Big Cartel so you can be confident your information is safe and secure, and you don't have to set up a Big Cartel account of any kind to check out. Payment is handled through Paypal, although you don't need a Paypal account to shop. You can still pay through Paypal with a major credit card.
