Happy Friday everyone!  It's going to be a chilly weekend here in San Diego with lots of rain.  I'm not usually a fan of rain, but I'm looking forward to busting out my rainboots and spending the rest of the time tucked cozily indoors!  Hope your weekend is a good one!

the real world.

 

Mondays are always a little rough, but the Monday after a week of vacation is the absolute worst.  I feel like I need another week just to recover.  Not that I'm looking for any sympathy for having to go on a Hawaiian vacation because I don't think I'd get any!

I'll be spending today and the next few days readjusting to the real world.  Back to early morning wake ups, days spent at work, and chores calling my name.  But there's also Thanksgiving dinner, Black Friday shopping, and handmade Christmas decorations to look forward to.  No complaints here.

round 2 of holiday journals available now!

They're here!  The second (and last!) round of holiday mixed paper journals will be added to the shop over the next couple of days.  There are two choices this time:

 

Vintage Postcard Journals

   

There are three journals available with a vintage postcard cover.  The inside pages are similar to the first round, but with some fun additions, including some red and green vintage advertisements and a Monday - Friday timecard to document your holiday schedule. 

 

 

BINGO Journals

There are four journals available with a vintage BINGO cover with a coordinating label.  Your choice between a green label on the green cover (my preference!) or a red label on the green cover (for the traditionalists!).  These are a tad bit bigger than the postcard journals.  Plenty of patterned scrapbook paper, vintage flashcards, envelopes, and more in these journals.  (I made one extra journal in this design for a December Daily of my own - my first try at this fun project!)

 

 

Extra Details:

• All journals come with a little embellishment kit with Christmas stamps, red labels, and other goodies to get you started on personalizing your journal right away.
• This will be the final round of holiday journals available this season.  Must make time for some DIY Christmas decorations!
• Journals purchased this week should arrive in time to participate in Ali Edwards' December Daily project.  I will be closing my shop next week to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family.  All orders placed by this Friday will be mailed before I leave.
