Based on the over 20 million blog hits I am guessing I am a little behind on this one. But I recently stumbled upon the 1000 Awesome Things blog and want to share with the two other people who haven't seen it that I know must be out there. Every weekday a new awesome thing is posted - usually something small that will make your day.
A few of my favorites:
#474 - When someone who doesn't like pizza crust gives you their pizza crust.
#575 - When the guy with a full cart of groceries lets you go ahead because you're only buying one thing.
#585 - Figuring out the plot twist just before they reveal it.
#590 - Wearing a sweatshirt that hasn't been washed yet.
If I were going to add my own, I would choose:
> Waking up early on Saturday morning and realizing you can go back to bed if you want.
> When you're running late and that traffic light that's always red is actually green.
> Finding some cash you forgot about in an old purse or jacket pocket.
> Checking off the last item on your To Do list.
>Anything sorted by color.
